100% Silk Habotai, digitally printed visualization of FIBH, the silkworm’s silk-production gene, into an image through TdRNA, the TouchDesigner system developed within Wet Dreams. The resulting image brings information associated with the production of the fibre back onto the material it generated. Genetic sequence, computational image, and textile meet within the same surface, silk carries a representation of its own biological production, rendered as a luxury good that can be worn, handled, and held close to the body.⁠
