Developed through bacterial pigmentation, digital print, and embroidery. Its visual structure begins with the genetic sequence of Serratia Marcescens, translated through a custom TouchDesigner system into a bioinformatic texture, then rendered as a net-like line form for textile printing and stitch. After printing and embroidery, the fabric is inoculated and colonized with SM.

The resulting hues and shades - Plum-Amber, Hot-Magenta, or Florescent Cherry - are not simply applied to the fiber, but cultivated through metabolic growth, care, nutrients, fibre reactivity, UV exposure and sterilization. The bacterial stain, embroidered line, woven surface, and sculpted vessel are not simply materials or techniques. Recording carrying the knowledge, care, permission, and provocation passed specifically between thinkers and makers.

Reliquary (Unguentarium, and Prodigiosin_Restrung) are material forms Ive given to the profound gratitude I hold now, at the end of my second degree within this institution. They bare traces of so many brilliant minds who nurtured my practice into the complexly entangled poetry it has become today. These works honour the strange, beautifully expansive makers who did not fit neatly within disciplinary chambers and did not waste away trying to conform. They are devotional artifacts, punk and sentimental, speculating matter, intimacy, contamination, power, survival, and our responsibilities to the relations envelope us.
